Good Life International and its Strategic Partners are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We have structured our web sites to serve and protect you in all your activities with us.

The nature of our business relationship requires us to collect important, personal and private information from you such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, or tax ID numbers. While this is a necessary part of our business, we do not take for granted the trust you place in us to maintain the security of this information. We place the highest priority on the security of all information that has been entrusted to us.

Once you choose to become a member and provide us with your personal information, you can be assured that it will only be used to support your member relationship with Good Life International.

Awareness
Good Life International provides this Online Privacy Statement to make you aware of our policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available with a link on every  page of the website.

What we collect
Each item of personal information we collect has a purpose. As examples, here are some of the most personal items we collect and their purpose:

Your country's required identification numbers for tax reporting purposes. These are required because we pay rebate commissions and are required by some countries to report this information to taxing authorities. In addition, in many countries, these same numbers are used to conduct credit checks for our banking partners in order to issue a credit card.

Home Address: This allows us to personalize your Good Life International experience and focus your attention on Merchants that are local to you, and is also for your credit card account.

In order to tailor our subsequent communications to you and continuously improve our products and services, we may also ask you to provide us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics, to report experience with our Merchants, and more detailed contact preferences. 

Some Good Life International web pages use cookies, a data analysis technique. 

How we use it
In addition to the basic credit check needed for a Banking partner to grant credit, Good Life International uses your information to better understand your needs and provide you with better service.

From time to time, we may use your information to contact you for market research or to provide you with marketing information we think would be of particular interest. At a minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such direct marketing or market research contact.

Who we share it with
Good Life International will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with our Strategic Marketing partners for your benefit such as to our banking partners. Such partners, in whatever country they are located, are governed by our privacy policies with respect to the use of this data and are bound by the appropriate confidentiality agreements. In addition, we only provide access on a "need-to-know" basis. For example, most of our employees and all of our merchants have no need to access your country's identification numbers.

Choice
Good Life International will not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without first letting you know and offering you a choice.

Accuracy & Access
Good Life International strives to keep your personal information accurate. We will provide you with access to your information in the Members Only site, so that you may view, update or correct your information as needed.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access or enabling you to make corrections.

Security
Good Life International is committed to ensuring the security of your information. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We use encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data.

How Good Life International uses cookies
A cookie is a piece of text asking permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. If you agree, then your browser adds the text in a small file. The purpose of a cookie is to help us analyze web traffic or let us know when you visit our site. Cookies allow a web application to respond to you as an individual.

Good Life International uses traffic log cookies to identify what pages are being used and which ones are not. This helps us to aggregate and analyze data about web page traffic and make improvements to Good Life International web sites to better meet customer needs.
